SHEILA HODGKIN, M.S., B.S. - Advisory Board Chair & Chief Development Officer.

As Chair of MedPlay Technologies advisory board, a mom, certified counselor, and MedPlay's Development Officer, Sheila has the passion and tenaciousness to be a leader and champion of children’s causes.  She specifically is driven to promote childhood fitness, and the prevention of pediatric obesity, as well as championing the enrichment of after school programs that mentor/inspire “at risk” children in having dreams and helping them achieve their dreams. 

Besides her board, networking and development duties at MedPlay Technologies, Sheila is currently serving as Home & School President for Loma Linda Academy, a private elementary and secondary school in Loma Linda, Ca.  As President, Sheila imparts a full range of administrative support duties including providing educational and financial resources to the teaching staff, administration, students and their families.

She is the former President of the National Auxiliary to the Alumni at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has been an active board member in that organization since 2000 providing leadership in various capacities and helping to fundraise for clinics and hospitals in underserved areas, provide scholarships, and offer other means of tangible assistance for medical students.  During her tenure as President, she helped re-establish the National Auxiliary as a major philanthropic organization of Loma Linda University.

In 1995, Sheila obtained her Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Loma Linda University Graduate School.  Prior to that, in 1993, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science with a Psychology Emphasis from Pacific Union College.

Sheila is married to Dr. Steven Hodgkin.  Steve and Sheila have four, beautiful school- age children: Savannah, Sophia, Alexander and Summer.
